The team at Go To Places has worked with Bluewater Shopping and Leisure Centre in Kent for a number of years to help make it THE shopping and leisure destination of choice for domestic and international visitors to the South East of England.
Key activity to date has included: developing its travel trade and groups offer (which included a new dedicated group and travel trade guide); a new signposted coach drop off point; a dedicated trade section on the Bluewater website; a new group booking form; and two new welcome packs for tour operators and drivers.
Visit Kent also manages the proactive promotion of Bluewater to the travel trade, securing new and returning business from UK coach operators by establishing a tourism offer that stands out from competitors.
As a result, the shopping centre has seen increased business from the coach market (and has received a Coach Friendly Destination award), and now has a proactive approach to marketing their coach offer at key times in the season.
