The barometer contains feedback from tourism businesses on their performance each month and gives a simple ‘snapshot’ of how tourism is performing locally, including visitor numbers, accommodation occupancy and overseas visits estimates. The barometer is a fantastic benchmarking tool, that highlights timely trends.
The Visit Kent barometer has contributions from over 55 attractions, 85 serviced accommodation providers, 20 conference venues, cross channel carriers and 14 Visitor Information Centres.
This “live” data is invaluable in helping businesses benchmark their performance and to evidence return on investment to public and private sector stakeholders both local and national.
